This program is a user-friendly, non-denominational introduction to the practice of meditation. It aims to answer some of the most common questions about meditation and dispel the myths and misconceptions surrounding this time-honored practice.
Participants will learn about the benefits of meditation and discover practical techniques for directing their attention and cultivating inner stillness with the breath as the natural object of focus.
You will take away with you the inspiration and clarity you need to continue a simple meditation practice at home.
This ninety-minute experiential curriculum consists of approximately 45 minutes of lecture/discussion and 45 minutes of meditation/contemplative exercises.
