Restorative Yoga

The Yoga of Non-Doing

Restorative yoga uses a variety of well-placed props (blankets, bolsters, walls, chairs, eye pillows) to support and stabilize the body for deep relaxation and renewal in a variety of passively held poses.

When the body is fully supported, it will naturally relax and release deeply held tensions.

The practice of restorative yoga will:

  • Release deeply held tensions
  • Soothe your nervous system
  • Strengthen your immune system
  • Promote inner stillness, peace, and well-being

This process invokes a natural state of balance, replenishment, and healing rest. In a restorative yoga session you will learn a set of restorative postures, complimented with gentle stretching, breathing, and relaxation.

We provide on-site restorative yoga classes for individuals and couples in the comfort of their own homes – and at our home studio in South Etobicoke. Please contact us for more information or to book an appointment.
